Born between Monaco, Dubai, and Osaka, TAKOGRAPHY grew out of a passion for photography, travel, and the encounters that happen along the way.
My work has taken me across cultures, cities, and some extraordinary places, from World Expos and international events to hotels, institutions, and everyday scenes. Each experience has shaped the way I see the world and the way I photograph it.
The name TAKOGRAPHY comes from tako, the Japanese word for octopus — a symbol of curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to explore different worlds. It reflects my own approach to photography: looking beyond the obvious, paying attention to the details, and finding stories where others might simply see a place or a moment.
Today, TAKOGRAPHY is where I bring together my professional assignments and personal photographic work. From documenting people and events to capturing the atmosphere of a place, I look for images that feel honest, distinctive, and alive.
Because every place has its own character, every encounter its own energy, and every moment something worth remembering.
A PERSONAL NOTE
My story with photography is closely connected to my passion for travel and World Expos.
I've always been fascinated by these temporary worlds where cultures, ideas, and people come together. Beyond the pavilions and the architecture, it's the human side of these places that stays with me: the conversations, the gestures, the unexpected encounters, and the fleeting moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Photography became my way of holding on to these moments. I'm drawn to color, movement, light, and atmosphere — to images that feel natural rather than staged, and to the small details that give a place its character.
Living and working between Monaco, Dubai, and Osaka has shaped my perspective, teaching me to look at familiar things differently and to stay curious about what surrounds me.
Through TAKOGRAPHY, I bring this perspective to my professional assignments, working with hotels, brands, institutions, and international events, while continuing to explore personal projects of my own.
Whether I'm photographing a major event or a quiet moment along the way, I'm always looking for the same thing: something real, something that catches my eye, something worth sharing.
